Well it was one of my close friends 30th birthday recently and I wanted to give her something
that had 30 on it. Do you know how hard it is to find a special gift that says 30. Well I decided to make her one to put in with her other gifts.
So I got a plain high gloss white kitchen tile from the hardware shop. I covered it with
Close To My Heart Liquid Glass then I chose my paper from
Close To My heart Workshop on the Go - Lollydoodle WOTG scrapbooking kit and adhered it onto the liquid glass. I then covered the patterned paper with liquid glass and allowed it to dry. Whilst it was drying I chose the HOO-RAY and border from my
Close To My Heart Lollydoodle Complements bargain at only $6.50 a pack. Then I cut out my number 30 with my Cricut using the Close To My Heart Artbooking Cricut Cartridge . Once I had cut out my number 30, I then used my Close to my Heart Dot Embossing Folder to emboss the dots on the number 30. Once I had done that, I then placed them on the tile and covered all of them with CTMH liquid Glass so that they had a nice clear glossy finish and made them dust resistant and cleanable. Finally adding some finishing touches with some hand made paper flowers and covered them also in liquid glass. On the back of the tile I attached some CTMH Twine with hot glue, so that it could be hung and its all finished. I love Close To My Heart it has everything I need especially when I need that special something.
