HANDMADE GIFTS - TEACHER APPRECIATION FROM CLOSE TO MY HEART

 

Its that time of year again !!!!!!!!!!!!

End of school year

and time to start thinking about thank you gifts for the teacher.

 

This year I decided to make a unique teachers gift, Using our Teacher Appreciation stamp set and

our Exclusive Cricut Artiste Cartridge.

 

I purchased this MDF box from the hardware, sealed it with High Gloss sealant

then covered it with our Snowhaven  Duo B&T papers, using both sides of the paper.  Using

the same paper I cut out the roses using the Cricut Artiste cartridge and Cricut Expressions

So here's a HANDY TIP for stamping onto MDF -  Using our exclusive

Teacher Appreciation D1612 stamp set  I mounted it onto our clear blocks, then inked the stamp with

Versa Mark, Then Black Stazon Ink.  I quickly stamped it onto the mdf and put clear embossing powder on it and used the heat gun to set it.  This gives the inked stamped image a raised glossy finish on it, but it also seals it onto the MDF.  Once dry, I then spray Clear gloss finish spray over the top.  This will aid in the stamped image to remain on the project and not wear or rub off.
